CHAIR NORMAN ROKEBERG called the Conference Committee on HB 330
to order at 8:21 a.m. Representatives Rokeberg and Halcro, and
Senators Taylor, Halford, and Ellis were present at the call to
order.
HB 330-PROVIDING ALCOHOL TO MINORS/ BREWPUB LIC.
CHAIR ROKEBERG announced that the only order of business before
the committee would be HOUSE BILL NO. 330, "An Act relating to
providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of
age." [Before the committee were CSHB 330(FIN) am and SCS CSHB
330(RLS).]
CHAIR ROKEBERG announced that the committee would be adopting
the language, "Limited to the amount sold to a wholesaler as
licensed under AS 04.11.160 in the calendar year 2001 plus ten
percent, or whichever is greater", on page 2, line 23 [of SCS
CSHB 330(RLS)]. [This language was also inserted on page 2,
line 4.]
[This language was adopted pending the granting of limited
powers of free conference, which was granted.]
SENATOR HALFORD inquired as to the location of the conference
committee report.
The committee took a brief at-ease from 8:23 a.m. to 8:26 a.m.
SENATOR HALFORD announced that [the committee] had possession of
a conference committee report. He asked, "And we've agreed to
this?"
CHAIR ROKEBERG replied yes.
[Members proceeded to sign the conference committee report,
which adopted CCS HB 330.]
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the committee, the
Conference Committee on HB 330 was adjourned at 8:28 a.m.
